Lake Superior

Lake Superior has areas where the water is so low you can walk about for a long time on soft sand. This photo is from a family vacation years ago. I’ve been back since but I can’t remember where this spot was.

Harvest Moon

My attempt at capturing the Harvest Moon a few nights ago. It really was so bright the light was coming into my bedroom window like the sun rising. I had to turn over just to block out the light so I could sleep. Finally I stopped fighting it and just got up to look at the moon and take a picture. I thought, “this would be a good night to go fishing.”

Dune Grass

Dune Grass

This image represents summer for me. Taken in Ludington, MI a couple weekends ago while on a last trip before school starts. The darker areas are trails that take you from Lakeshore Drive to Lake Michigan. It can be a hot walk and sometimes prickly if you step on the grass stubbles but the beach here is amazing and worth theĀ dangers.
