On my way to an inspection almost an hour away I passed this old house. It made enough of an impression that I had to stop on the way back. The design, a clay tile roof, stucco exterior and holes at the gable end all reminded me of an old western. It was unlike any home I’d seen in the area. The yard was all concrete so I think it must have been a business at one time, perhaps a gas station/tavern.
