It seems like each winter I think about how much time I didn’t spend outdoors doing the things I enjoy.
I can’t complain about the amount of time I spent outdoors over the summer this year. My visits to the LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve and Matthaei Botanical Gardens were frequent.
The photo above was from this fall at the LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve just a couple miles from where I grew up and less than 10 miles from where I now live. I spent hours over the summer here walking around, flying a kite with my daughter and at times just sitting for a while to think.
